Use the Power of Play to Build Resilience and Support Healing is a 60 minute session that focuses on learning how play can be an effective tool to foster resilience and facilitate healing in youth. Through various games, activities, and discussions participants will understand the importance of offering choices in play, how to use emotion coaching to help youth identify and manage their emotions, and how to choose activities based on mood and energy level.
This session is the last of a two-part series that equips parents with a deeper understanding of the impact of stress and trauma on youth while learning practical tools to foster healing through connection, care, and play.
